Join me as I travel around Northern Colorado in search of NoCo's Greatest Pie.  This week, a stop at Blocky's in Loveland.

In pursuit of Northern Colorado's Greatest Pie, my 'Pizza My Heart' series took me into Loveland and to Blocky's Eatery in the Orchards Shopping Center.

Blocky's is an open/clean space. They do deliver but they have plenty of room for eating in, too. Big tables, small tables, booths, patio seating. I noticed they're Steelers fans. I guess that's OK. The staff was very friendly; nice guys.

They offer slices, but my cohort, Jake, and I opted for one of their specialty pies, The Ultimate- Pepperoni, sausage, bacon, bell peppers, black olives, fresh garlic, onions, and mushrooms, (we went without mushrooms.)

While we got seated and waited for the pie, they had a rush of high schoolers taking advantage of the slices special.

They hand spread and toss their pies at Blocky's 'like they did in the 1920's' according to their site. The east coast style thin crust pizza only takes a few minutes to bake up, and it came out to our table piping hot.

The 14" pie looked great and was very hot like I said. Jake and I finished off The Ultimate while there, having three slices each.

On their site, Blocky's boasts that they are Loveland's Best Pizza and Italian Eatery. They definitely have a lot of Italian dishes. Calzones, subs, steak sandwiches, pastas. If you're hungry, this is a place to get filled up at.

The pizza? Let's get to the reviews.

Google Reviews has 356 reviewers giving Blocky's a 4.4 out of 5.

My 'Pizza My Heart' rating:

I liked the venue, but the pie was good, but not fantastic. 3.9 Pepperonis out of 5.
