Join me as I travel around Northern Colorado in search of NoCo's Greatest Pie. This week, a visit to Arte Pizzeria.

Arte Pizzeria is on the west side of Loveland, just off of Eisenhower and behind Wendy's. It's been around for about ten years.

Cohort Jake and I stopped in for lunch on November 20, 2019, to see if they lived up to their Google Review rating of 4.6.

The joint is small but clean. They have about eight lunch specials that you can choose from, along with all their regular offerings, like lasagna.

The day that we were there, they had this spinach pizza slice- it was kind of like a calzone. I was intrigued and jumped at it. Jake opted for two slices of the 'Bianca'- white sauce with sausage and peppers with a drizzle of vinaigrette.

The slices came out quick to the table as some high school students started filtering in.

My slice was pretty good- especially with the dipping sauce on the side. I didn't love it, though. I felt I'd ordered the wrong thing. Have you ever done that?

Jake, on the other hand, LOVED his slices of pie: 'Oh man, this is really good!'

There are three versions as to what 'arte' means in Italian: Art, Skill, Craft. I can see why Arte Pizzeria would use that as their name. They take a lot of pride in how they make their pizzas and other Italian offerings and all three definitions aptly apply.

As I stated, Google reviews (557 of them) rate Arte with a 4.6.

My Pizza My Heart Review (based upon Jake's review): We AGREE with Google. 4.6 Pepperonis out of 5.
