Join me as I travel around Northern Colorado in search of NoCo's Greatest Pie with 'Pizza My Heart.' This week, a stop at Campus West's Cosmo's.

In pursuit of Northern Colorado's Greatest Pie, my 'Pizza My Heart' series made its very first stop at Cosmo's Pizza at Campus West on July 10, 2019.

It definitely has the college-crowd feel, as it should. It has cool decor (I forgot to get a picture of the 'slice of pie' booth), you get to watch them make your pizza if you wish, and the prices were very reasonable. The staff seemed nice. Not exuberant, but that's OK.

My cohort and I ordered a sausage pie with green peppers. The hand-tossed crust was great; the pie had a decent amount of sausage and peppers; we also got a side of their wildly-popular spicy ranch. People could not stop telling me to get the spicy ranch. Good grief.

The pizza tasted great. The spicy ranch: I was not blown away. Sorry, gang.

Cosmo's Pizza: My rating: 3.5 pepperonis out of possible 5.

Join me next week, as I'll take on JJ's.
