Aims Community College, which has campuses in Greeley, Fort Lupton, Loveland and Windsor, will move forward with plans to offer in-person classes when fall classes start up again in August.

According to a letter addressed to the Aims community via the official Aims Community College website, the school believes that students should be able to access education and resources in the mode that best suits them.

"Many students learn best in person, and many programs rely on in-person instruction to even operate. This means it’s imperative to open up more in-person classes and services as soon as it is safe and feasible to do so."

Although Aims is moving forward with a plan to fully open for the Fall 2021 semester, campuses will also continue to offer online and remote classes.

"I do want to emphasize that being fully operational means in-person, online, and remote classes will be offered," said Dr. Leah L. Bornstein, the CEO and President of Aims Community College.

"If this past year has taught us anything, it’s that we have the tools and capability to serve students in a variety of ways. We realize that online and hybrid classes offer much-needed flexibility for students, and they are integral to the future of higher education."

Aims Community College will continue to follow federal, state and local health authority guidance but anticipates that opening will be possible.

As per Dr. Bornstein's letter, updates regarding the Fall 2021 semester will be available in the coming weeks.
