I had the honor of hosting the NighLights Tree Lighting Ceremony Friday night for Realities for Children at the First Presbyterian Church on College Avenue, just south of Mulberry. The highlight was the lighting of the 50' tree with over 30,000 blue lights

The event also featured live music from Wendy Woo, CSU's Mainstreet Acapella and 13-year-old Emma Marie. The crowd also enjoyed free warm soup from Z Catering, hot cocoa, coffee & chai from Sam's Club, The Salvation Army & Star of India, and homemade cookies. Santa Claus was there with his sleigh and one kid won a 33 lb chocolate Santa from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory.
