Being one of Santa Claus' fill-ins during the Christmas season isn't something you can just "do," there are things you need to know. Every year for over 40 years, a "school" takes place in Denver to train "Santas."

Having trained Santas for over 40 years, they must have seen thousands of Santas and Mrs Clauses come through their system. It sounds like a fun education, if you ask me: Learning the best way to bring joy to kids, every year.

Of course, there are the kids that who do not seeing Santa; they train for that, too.

Denver Holds a Santa School Every Year

You can't deny that Christmas, with all it's feel of joy and giving, is an industry; part of that industry are the Santa Clauses and Mrs. Clauses we see everywhere, every year. Not only do they put smiles on kids' faces, they put money in their checking accounts.

When you consider how much attending Denver's "Santa School" costs, those who attend must make a lot of money filling in for "The Big Guy;" the school runs about $800. If you learn how to be the "best" at being Santa, you're going to be making some serious cash.

Santa School Happens Every Summer in Denver Since 1983
