There can't be much bigger fans of the classic "Christmas Vacation" than the owners of this RV in Greeley; for one day they opened up for folks to get a look inside.

National Lampoon's "Christmas Vacation' came out in 1989 and took the country by storm. It definitely stands out as most Americans' favorite in the series of films. There are a lot of great scenes, including Cousin Eddie and his clan showing up in that RV.

It turns out there may be a very good reason that this company in Greeley has a such a strong affinity for the RV in "Christmas Vacation. The RV in the movie is a 1971 Ford Condor Camper, and that's the year that this company was founded.

Roche Constructors began in 1971, with their headquarters being in Greeley at 361 71st Avenue, at the corner of 4th Street and 71st Avenue; it's a great spot for putting up an awesome "Christmas Vacation" tribute.

At night, the 'Christmas Vacation' RV,  at 71st Avenue and 4th Street, lights up a busy corner.

In early December of 2024, Roche Constructors held a brief "open house" of their 1971 Ford Condor that they deck out to look just like Cousin Eddie's. It was an offer to good to refuse, and I was not disappointed.

Nick, the driver of the RV, was more than hospitable as he dressed up as Cousin Eddie, guiding people into the RV in his robe. He made sure that everyone got the pictures they needed/wanted of the RV and the items around it.
