Windsor to Move Recycling Center & End Yard Waste Collection
The Town of Windsor is moving it's recycling center and making a few changes. Monday, December 31 is the final day for Windsor residents to drop off yard waste at the Brush Recycling Site, 801 Diamond Valley Dr. The town also plans to stop offering yard waste recycling at the end of the month.
Recycling Center New Location
Windsor plan to move its recycling center to its Public Works facility at 922 N. 15th St., by March 1, 2019. The new facility will continue to accept cardboard, low-grade paper, glass and plastics.
New Option for Yard Waste
As part of the change, Windsor Water Utility customers will have the option of recycling yard waste with businesses such as A1 Organics in Eaton or Hageman Earth Cycle in Fort Collins to receive a one-time annual reimbursement of up to $10 by turning in a rebate application with proof of residency and purchase.
Christmas Tree Recycling
The Town of Windsor will continue to have a tree recycling program that starts December 26. Tree collection will be at the Chimney Park Athletic Fields.
