Windsor is split between Larimer and Weld County, which has left many wondering if the city would reopen on Monday, April 27, following Weld's Safer-at-Work plan, or if it would follow Larimer County's Safer-at-Home phase, per the State of Colorado

While Windsor straddles county lines, the town's official Facebook page shared that it is following state guidelines issued by the governor.

'Windsor is committed to monitoring and making information available as soon as the Governor’s office releases it,' the Town of Windsor posted on Facebook. 'For now, we know that both the Weld and Larimer County Health Departments have posted additional guidance, but for the safety of our public, when the governor’s orders come out, that’s what the town plans to follow.'

According to the Coloradoan's in-depth look at COVID-19 cases in Northern Colorado, "Windsor...decided Friday to recommend its businesses follow the statewide safer-at-home guidance, which aligns with Larimer County's plans." (Read in full here.)
