TRI 102.5 Brings You a ‘Christmas in July’ Weekend’

Starting at 3 p.m. this Friday afternoon, TRI 102.5 is bringing you all of your favorite songs from your favorite time of the year—CHRISTMAS!

Even Santa Claus enjoys his time off during the summer! Think of the elves as being busy, not making toys, but making margaritas! Imagine Ol' Kris Kringle here in Northern Colorado, paddle-boarding on Horsetooth Reservoir-- that’s so Santa!  This weekend TRI 102.5 will help Santa enjoy his vacation, and help YOU cool off a hot Northern Colorado weekend by playing your favorite Christmas songs.

TRI 102.5 is known as Northern Colorado’s ‘All Christmas Station!’ We love Christmas, and we start playing nothing but Christmas songs for the holidays when Fort Collins turns on their holiday lights downtown. It occurred to us that it’s just too darn long to wait for Christmas songs, so why don’t we play some in July? Hence, ‘A Christmas in July Weekend!’

This weekend (July 22-24) you won’t have to worry about your Christmas list; you won’t have to worry about what to wear to the office Christmas party; you definitely won’t have to worry about shoveling snow to get out of your driveway.

Just sit back on the deck and turn up Bing Crosby, Josh Groban, Nat King Cole, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Band Aid and all of your other favorite Christmas songs! Summer and Christmas-- it's the best of both worlds.
