A nasty crash on Lincoln Avenue in Loveland sent three people to the hospital and closed all lanes of the busy street on Tuesday afternoon.

Loveland Fire Rescue Authority battalion chief Eric Klaas told the Reporter-Herald that firefighters were called to the 2100 block of North Lincoln Avenue at 4:29 p.m.

They found a truck on its side, with one person stuck inside the wrecked vehicle and another ejected from the truck. Klaas says it took about 10 minutes to get the victim out. In total, four people were injured in the crash and three of them were transported to Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland. The fourth victim was treated at the scene and released.

Klass told the Reporter-Herald that he believes five vehicles were involved in the crash, but said he was unsure what started it.
