Denver International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the country, if not the world. Hundreds of thousand (if not millions) of Coloradans travel in and out of DIA every year. Getting there can be a hassle; a bus from Longmont to DIA may help.

An RTD Bus to Denver International Airport Could be Convenient for Many

The thought of an RTD bus taking me from Longmont to DIA sounds like a fantastic opportunity; I can see myself getting a ride to Longmont much easier than a ride all the way out to the airport. Even parking my car for a few days in Longmont sounds less expensive than DIA.

According to Longmont Times-Call, a new fund, helping to clean the air, granted just over $9 million to provide more frequent bus routes and start new ones. One new route would be a direct route from Longmont to DIA and back.

There are many, many people in Longmont who could take advantage of that route; but again, I can see myself, and others in Northern Colorado ready to get on board.

How Much Will it Cost to Take RTD to Denver International Airport from Longmont?

Being in the early stages of creating such a route, it's too soon to say how much RTD passengers would/will have to pay to get to DIA. What would my "price point" be? I'd say $30-40; with free parking. Does that seem reasonable?
