Loveland Firefighter Sculpture Includes Vintage "Fire Siren"
Also included in the display, is a vintage Denver Duplex siren, from the early 1900s; According to Loveland's Art in Public Places, the siren was first installed at Loveland first fire station in Downtown. The sire was later moved to the original Fire Station #7, but the floods of 2013 washed that station away. The siren was later recovered from the debris.

Who Created "Ever Watchful, Ever Ready" in Loveland?
The piece was created by James Lynxwiler, who's had several pieces featured around Northern Colorado; including another firefighters-inspired piece, "Call to Action," that you'll find at Greeley's Fire Station #6. Lynxwiler was a firefighter (including 22 years with Poudre Fire Authority,) so he know the subject of his firefighter pieces very well.
