While Colorado is far from Nashville, Tennessee, there are plenty of Country Music fans across the state, including in the Fort Collins and Northern Colorado area. A 'One Night Only' event is coming to help fans re-live the 90s & 2000s with line dancing and more.

What is the Country Line Dancing Event Coming to Fort Collins?

A unique Country DJ show, Boot Scoot USA, has been around since 2019 helping people get their flashback dance parties on. With the Sundance Steakhouse & Saloon having closed for good in the summer of 2024 (and razed in 2026,) finding a large [dance] floor for line dancing has been an issue; the event will take place at The Aggie.

When is the 'Boot Scootin' NIght' at The Aggie in Fort Collins?

The party will be Friday night, August 21, 2026. Back in the early 2000s, I used to do my K99 radio show from the Sundance on Friday nights; it was fun to see the live bands and watch everyone on the floor two-stop and line dance. This night will have two-stepping in addition to line dancing, of course; it's about Country Music.

I would expect to hear great "old" tunes: Brooks & Dunn, Shania Twain, Alan Jackson, Billy Ray Cyrus, and old Kenny Chesney; but also newer Country songs, "bangers," too: Shaboozey, Ella Langley, Blake Shelton, etc.

The night will begin with dance lessons if you need them, then the party really gets underway from 10:30 until "late." Get there early to get your $20 ticket's worth.
