No Ghost Photos This Halloween: NoCo Thanks Firefighters at the Stanley
Normally this time of the year, we'd be sharing ghost stories, but this Halloween, the haunted hotel that famously inspired Stephen King's The Shining is housing hundreds of firefighters who are battling the Cameron Peak and East Troublesome Fires.
Cameron Peak Fire, now the largest fire in Colorado history, and the East Troublesome Fire both began to threaten the town of Estes Park last week. And, while virtually every resident evacuated, the iconic hotel became home to firefighters from all over the country (and Puerto Rico).
On October 28, we received photos from California's Central Lyon Fire with NoCo's Signs of Support, which have been put up in the hotel. You can also make Signs of Support for our local and visiting firefighters and first responders, here's how.
