Estes Park Adds New Adventure/Games Holiday Festival for 2025
Christmastime in Colorado can include gathering with friends/family, eggnog, big meals, and gifts. In Estes Park, for 2025, they're throwing in a festival weekend of all sorts of games and competitions. The competitions include a fierce snowball fight based on Japanese competition that's been happening since 1988.
With the stress that the holidays can bring, the thought of "blowing off some steam" before Christmas may be "just what the doctor ordered." A trip up to Estes Park for one or two days, competing in some fun games, having a few cocktails/hot chocolates, and just letting loose, can get you "back to good" to finish up the holidays.
A company that has producing events since 2002 is bringing a brand new event to Estes Park: "Sleigh the Games." The two-day festival will include an assortment of winter-themed competitions/activities. You've heard of summer events like Tough Mudder, or Warrior Dash; think of those, but with even more things to do. One of the big events that weekend will be the "Snowball Battle Championship," based on the Japanese competition, Yukigassen.
