Places in Northern Colorado You Can Go to For Food Assistance & More
An extended governmental shutdown will mean "hard times" for thousands and thousand of Coloradans. Whether it be needing food or other household items, the money for those items may dry up; there are places/organizations in Northern Colorado ready to help. Those who need the help can reach out to them, and those who don't necessarily need the help can donate.

With government workers being furloughed, SNAP benefits being put on hold, and just the overall uncertainty within the economy, a lot of people/families across the nation are scared and frustrated. Hopefully, things will turn around, SNAP benefits won't be "turned off" for long, and everyone will have reasons to be less stressed. Until then, a list of resources around Northern Colorado can come in handy.
When I was young, my brother and I's single mom struggled many times to keep food in the house. Loveland's House of Neighborly Service helped us out many times; we were grateful for their generosity. They've helped hundreds of thousands of people since their inception; they're just one organization in Northern Colorado that has heart and resources that those in the area can take advantage of.
