Surprising Stats About JonBenét Ramsey’s Murder Investigation in Colorado
Since 1996, Colorado and the world have frustratingly waited to see if there will be any solving of "Who Killed JonBenét Ramsey." The Boulder Police Department has released some numbers regarding the investigation.
These numbers highlight the amount of effort that has gone into finding JonBenét's killer, who may not even still be alive. The investigation is heading towards 30 years; will they have the answer before 2026?
Christmas time in Boulder should be a beautiful thing; in 1996, with the murder of 6-year-old JonBenét, Christmas time was anything but. With so many years having gone by, you could understand not everyone in Colorado knows about the case.

2023 JonBenét Murder Investigation Update
For those who have tried to follow the case since Dec. 26, 1996 (when JonBenét's body was found), it seems almost futile that authorities will find who killed JonBenét. Boulder Police, along with the city of Boulder, Colorado, released a statement in late December 2023 with an update regarding the investigation.
Recently, the Boulder Police Department convened a panel of outside experts (Colorado Cold Case Review Team) to review the JonBenét Ramsey homicide investigation. The purpose of the review was to generate additional investigative recommendations and determine if updated technologies and/or forensic testing might produce new intelligence or leads to solve the case.
While the Boulder Police and Boulder County District Attorney review and prioritize everything from that yearlong review, there are some interesting numbers in regards to the investigation, as well as other facts.
