The little Colorado town of Pierce is getting ready for not one, but two tests of an experiment energy source. Will these tests put the state on the map for bringing in a new energy source?

With Pierce being such a small town, and two geothermal companies coming in, things might begin to look a lot different there. If anything, there's the chance at some good jobs coming to town.

The technology, though generally new, has been working in Nevada; Pierce will be on the forefront for Colorado.

When oil and gas wells run dry, those wells remain; which is what you'll find scattered in/near Pierce. Those abandoned wells will now be a part of getting down there again; instead of gas and oil, this time it's about the hot water under Colorado.
