Thirsty? Take a Look Inside Loveland’s New Honky-Tonk in Downtown
It's been 'brewing' for a while now, and is finally open to quench Loveland's thirst for adult beverages and fun. Tom Davis Saloon.
We let you know that the new Honky Tonk was on its way, and I stopped in during their opening weekend to check the new place out. Right at the corner of Cleveland and 5th Street, Tom Davis Saloon is part of the new Cleveland Station.
I think right off the bat, one thing you need to know going in is that all the businesses in Cleveland Station share restrooms; you've probably seen this before. To get to then at Tom Davis, you use the 'Exit' to the left of the stage.
Speaking of the stage:
There is good-sized dance floor in front of the stage. While my gang and I were there, there were a few women line dancing. Line dancing is a big part of Tom Davis Saloon; every Wednesday they have it. It IS a Honky Tonk, after all.

You may find it smaller than expected on the inside, but that's more opportunity to get closer and mingle with new friends.
And there's a lot of seating outside of Tom Davis, along 5th Street and along Cleveland:
Above the bar you'll find a car wearing a NAPA hat. It must be a "Tom Davis" thing:
Speaking of cars, they have great collection of old license plates:
You can't go too far in Tom Davis Saloon without seeing the man pays homage to:
The man must have been a ton of fun to hang out with, without quesiton.
What kind of Honky Tonk would Tom Davis Saloon be without a pool table? There's nothing like "fresh felt" to entice you to get your game on.
You're looking for more art at Tom Davis? You got it:
Another thing to keep in mind: Tom Davis is a bar/saloon/Honky Tonk. You won't find any meals or food here. Just drinks. A lot of drinks. You can even get a TOWER of beer ($30 for Bud Light inside.) I am a fan of these 20 oz. glasses that they serve some of their special cocktails out of:
The beer is stored SAFEly... This makes me want to plan a heist of Tom Davis':
Tom Davis Saloon is a great bar. Fun nights and a great place to meet friends after lunch on the weekends. They'll be around for many years to come.
