How Windsor’s ‘Future Legends’ Sports Complex Might Look
After several years, and several iterations, Windsor's sports complex is under construction. Take a look at what Future Legends could look like.
It was going to be Rocky Mountain Sports Park, on the north side of Windsor at County Road 74 and Highway 257. Then, it was going to be Colorado National Sports Complex, on the east side of Windsor by the current Diamond Valley Sports Complex.
Construction is officially underway for what is now the Future Legends Sports Complex. It will, indeed, be located by Diamond Valley.
According to the Coloradoan, the developer says that the stadium the complex will have will be able to not only accommodate 6.000 fans for games but 20,000 people for concerts.
According to the Future Legends website, the complex will have:
- 1 Professional Multi-Purpose Synthetic Stadium
- 1 Miracle Field
- 1 Indoor Multi-Purpose Dome
- 2 Indoor Diamond Fields
- 8 Outdoor Diamond Fields
- 16 Volleyball Courts
- 3 On-Site Hotels with 325 rooms
