Police in Fort Collins say they arrested a local man on Friday night for threatening people with a gun after they refused to buy drugs.

That's according to a post on the Fort Collins Police Services Facebook page. According to the post, officers were called to a local bar on a report that a customer had been threatened with a gun.

When they arrived, the alleged victim told police that the man had tried to get him and his friends to buy cocaine. When they declined, the man allegedly threatened them with a gun.

While officers were investing the report a fight broke out at the bar, but they were still able to identify and arrest the suspect, who they say had cocaine and a handgun on him.

According to the post, he was arrested on the following charges:

Felony Menacing - 2 counts (class 5 felony), Prohibited Use of a Weapon (class 2 misdemeanor), Unlawfully Carrying a Concealed Weapon (class 2 misdemeanor), and Unlawful Possession of a Schedule I or II Drug - Cocaine (class 1 drug misdemeanor). He was booked into the Larimer County Jail and issued a $5,000 cash/surety bond.

Police have so far not identified either the suspect or the bar where the incident occurred.
