The firework shows will go on in NoCo... just not in FoCo. According to the Loveland Reporter-Herald, the Town of Berthoud will still have fireworks this summer, following its 'inaugural' fireworks event in 2019.

The Loveland Reporter-Herald says the event will be held in Berthoud on July 3, and is intended for residents to view fireworks from home. You can see the full details on the event from the Loveland Reporter-Herald.

Last week, the City of Fort Collins announced that it nixed its scheduled Independence Day festivities, which included both a parade and fireworks show, in order to prevent a large gathering that could spread COVID-19.

While Fort Collins residents are disappointed that there will be no fireworks display, the city said it will work on alternative activities. Remember that setting off your own fireworks in Fort Collins is illegal within city limits — just wait until next year.

According to 9NEWS, even though the Greeley Stampede is canceled this summer, its annual fireworks show on July 4 is still on, and may be bigger and 'more patriotic' than ever. In Loveland, there is no word on a change in plans for its show over Lake Loveland.
