There are many great hot air balloon festivals in Colorado, but one takes the saying, "Go big or go home," seriously.

Nobody likes the idea of summer ever coming to an end, but when Colorado Springs is holding such a huge hot air balloon festival, you almost can't wait for the end of summer to come.

It's truly not only one of Colorado's biggest hot air balloon festivals, it's one of the state's biggest festivals, overall.

Many Coloradans make it a point to go to a Rockies game every year, or visit Palisade's wonderful wine country each season; this should be a year "must-do" as well.
