A Vail woman who was found zip tied in a dumpster in March has been arrested for false reporting according to Vail Daily. Vail Police spent more than 200 hours investigating the incident and say that it was fictitious. She was found in a dumpster in the Sandstone neighborhood with her wrists zip tied to the front of her. Her claim was that she got off of work at her Avon job between 4 and 5 p.m. and was abducted at 5:30 p.m. saying that the person who abducted her threw her into a vehicle and was told she would never see her children again. She also said in the interview that she did not remember anything that happened until she was found in the dumpster the next morning. She was found on March 27th at 5:30 a.m., three days before her child custody hearing in District Court.
