Each summer, parents, grandparents, caregivers look for activities for kids. A $3 movie series in Loveland is always a day of the week you can put on the calendar in Northern Colorado for some fun.

When Are the $3 Movies in Downtown Loveland?

For Seven Tuesdays from early June through July, The Rialto Theater in Downtown Loveland opens its doors to let kids and adults into the historic space to see family-fun movies for only $3 a showing. The movies play at 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

It's a great way to introduce the theater to young kids who may have not been there yet, and a great way to keep them entertained for a while during those "boring summer" months. $3 is not a lot, when you consider how much going to a movie is these days; you could see both showings each Tuesday and still not spend a lot.

Will It Be Easier to Get Around and Park in Downtown Loveland This Summer?

The summer of 2026 should see the construction along 4th Street, where The Rialto is located, starting to ease if not fully open. Either way, bringing the kids to Downtown is good for them and for the economy; why not stop in at Mary's Mountain Cookies in Downtown, for example, after a movie?

Are All of the $3 Movies Animated?

While a majority of the seven movies are animated/cartoons, the one that is not is a classic featuring Ben Stiller and Robin Williams: "Night at the Museum." All in all, the seven bring a lot of fun and adventure.
