A Great Halloween Display Right Off Lincoln in Loveland is 10 Giant Skeletons Running
When it's Halloween season in Colorado, you can expect to see some great displays, from scary to funny. One in Loveland is a bit of both: Giant skeletons running in a field.
Gang of Skeletons Display Along Highway 287 in South Loveland
Loveland is known for having Bonzart - a 20-foot skeleton that looks like he's playing an organ (which is the roof of a house in downtown); He gets different looks for different holidays, but Halloween is his big time of year. A group of about nine giant skeletons is turning heads about a mile south of Whiteside's Boots along the west side of Highway 287 (South Lincoln).

I'd heard about the display and had to go see it for myself: it is pretty creepy to see a group, a gang, of skeletons together in a field, as if they're making their way to the road to cause mayhem. I haven't gone by to see what it looks like at night to see if they get light focused on them; that might freak me out too much.
To have nine of these skeletons, you have to be committed to the project, as they can run about $300 each; that would mean this South Loveland display set the homeowner (in the Derby Hill neighborhood) back nearly $3,000. I wish that I were an actual photojournalist, with an expensive camera, as my Droid can let me down sometimes.

I couldn't get as close as I wanted, as there's a property fence, probably to keep people like me from getting too close to the skeletons.
