Officials Warning Colorado Residents About Rising River Danger
Colorado public safety officials are warning swimmers about a dangerous and lengthy high-water season.
Record snowfall is about to have a massive effect on front range creeks and rivers. For the first time in 19 years the U.S. Drought Monitor has given us the official word that Colorado is no longer in a drought.
According to Colorado Public Radio, last year 65% of the state was experiencing a drought. Farms were drying up and crops were were not growing like they have in the past. Lucky for us, mother nature came in with a vengence over the fall and winter.
