Music in the Greenhouse to Benefit FoCo Adopt-A-Family
On Sunday, November 29, Gulley Greenhouse and Garden Center along with students from Rocky Mountain High School are inviting the community to join in for an afternoon of fantastic music and fun, all to benefit a great local cause.
Coordinated by the students and staff at Rocky as a school-wide service project, Music in the Greenhouse will be happening from 2 to 5 p.m., and will feature local musical performances from Shannon Fitzsimmons, Breakfast for Dinner, Jared Janzen, and Tyler Rennix. Soulful singer and also a favorite among the Front Range music scene, Wendy Woo, will be headlining the event.
Music in the Greenhouse is free for the public to attend. There will be jars set up to allow guests to donate to Adopt-A-Family, an outreach ministry that partners with families, local businesses and the community to help families in need during the holidays. First coming together in 1996, partnering with this organization has now become an annual tradition for students and staff at RMHS, and Gulley Greenhouse is thrilled to help support their efforts. In 2013, over 78 families were adopted by the high school.
