Downtown Loveland Has a Cool New BrewPub – See Inside
Downtown Loveland has been waiting for this place to open for months, and the time has arrived. Craft beers, cocktails, and pub fare. Also, there's a patio.
Cleveland Station is the new development at the southeast corner of 5th Street and Cleveland in Downtown Loveland, Colorado. You may know of the widely popular Tom Davis Saloon; Sky Bear Brewery is Cleveland Station's latest offering.
Just about two years ago, this building began transforming into Cleveland Station. Currently, the building is home to Tom Davis Saloon and Soul Shine Botanica & Gifts, both of which face Cleveland. Sky Bear Brewery & Pub is on the backside (eastside) of the building, along the southeast corner of the station.
For many, many years, this building portion was the backside of a thrift store that benefitted McKee Medical Center. The front side of the building is currently for lease.
With Sky Bear Brewery, downtown Loveland will now have seven breweries:
- Loveland Aleworks
- Crow Hop Brewery
- Verboten Brewing & Barrel Project
- Big Thompson Brewery (upper downtown)
- Rock Coast Brewery
- Sky Bear Brewery
What Sky Bear has in common with Rock Coast is that they both have craft beer, cocktails, and food. Doing so opens the opportunity for more customers to enjoy what each business offers.
Sky Bear has a good pub fare menu with nachos, quesadillas, hummus, sandwiches, along with a veggies burger, just to name a few items. I ordered the nachos, they were tasty, and it was a great-sized serving.
A look (above) at their beverage menus shows a good selection: A good variety of craft beers and a fun cocktail list (many were intrigued by the Raspberry Mule while I was there. I ordered the Cougar IPA; it was very good.

Sky Bear has a nice bartop which seats about 10 across.
The staff and owners were very friendly, and why not? It's always fun to open a new hot spot for an area.
Sky Bear has a lot of room inside, with the main bar area and a room to the south.
With plenty of seating inside, it makes the fact that Sky Bear has a patio even more exciting. Their patio faces the east. With that, in the summer, you won't get fried while trying to enjoy yourself.
Welcome to town, gang.
