Echo Brewing & Pizzeria in Downtown Loveland

What was once Loveland's train depot became the second Colorado location of Erie's Echo Brewing & Pizzeria in October of 2026.

New Restaurant Comes to Historic Loveland Building

The building at 409 North Railroad in Downtown Loveland is a historic landmark on the National Register of Historic Places that dates back to 1902, when it was constructed by the Colorado and Southern Railway to be the town's depot. The depot closed in the mid-80s and has held several businesses/restaurants since then.

My first job, at 17, was at The Depot, the first restaurant to open in the old depot. I remember interviewing downstairs when a train went by; I said, "I guess that's why they call it the depot.." It was a cheesy joke, but it didn't keep me from being hired. I made a lot of nacho platters back in the kitchen; they were tasty.

The original Echo Brewing & Pizzeria, which is still open in downtown, is inside what was the fire station. Echo Brewing remodeled/converted the station and opened in the summer of 2014. It's a very trendy/hip place for litte Erie; hopefully, the Loveland location will take on the same persona.

From a Sports Bar to a Pizzeria Brewpub

It was definitely weird to walk into Loveland's Echo Brewing & Pizzeria after having been to Sports Station for so many years. All the old tables and chairs were gone (you can find the chairs at East End Ale House now), replaced by new ones. Gone was the arcade area, replaced by the pizza oven area.

Their individual-size pizzas start at $14 ($4 more for a gluten-free crust), they have a few salads, kids' meals, and appetizers. They have a selection of their own beers (they will be adding guest taps), wine, rum, tequila, and vodka. It was great to have a beer while sitting at the very old bar top, again.
