Learn to Fly Day at the Greeley-Weld Airport
Have you ever wanted to fly an airplane? Now's your chance to talk to some pilots, see static displays of many civilian and military aircraft, the Civil Air Patrol, and take an airplane ride.
The Experimental Aircraft Association is a worldwide organization with thousands of chapters around the world. Chapter 1117 will be hosting a Learn to Fly Day on May 21st and is open to everyone of any age.
Various vendors associated with the aviation industry will be on hand, along with the Aims Community College aviation wing. The Goodtimes Car Club of Greeley will host an auto show. Certified flight instructors and experienced pilots will be giving airplane rides all day long for $10 per person.
The event runs from 9 am to 4 pm, food and beverage will be available.
