Larimer County’s Project Self-Sufficiency Holds Community Luncheon
Recently, I was in a room of about 1000 women. One of the speakers asked the crowd to raise their hand if they had been raised by a single mother. Almost half the room raised their hand. It was pretty incredible to realize, the support and needs, surrounding single parenting. In Larimer County, many single-parents can benefit from the help provided by Project Self-Sufficiency. It you would like to learn more about this organization and help them fund their mission, put this community luncheon on your calendar.
The "Bring the Power" Project Self-Sufficiency Luncheon is on April 11th, 2017 at the Embassy Suites in Loveland. The lunch will highlight some of the participant's accomplishments, honor partners and volunteers, and assist in the funds needed to support 150 single-parents families each year in Larimer County. You can register to attend at www.ps-s.org.

Ultimately, it is about contributing to the workforce, positively impacting the economy and realizing that change begins one person at a time.
