This week, I put an offer in on a home in Windsor, but the road to doing so has been less than desirable.

The real estate market is operating very differently these days. Instead of touring homes, I have been taking virtual tours and driving by the homes I like in order to check out the neighborhood.

What a lot of buyers were doing in March and early April is getting a contract in order to have access to house tours to begin with.

The new safer-at-home order allows for home showings, but only for the homes you are most interested in.

As of Wednesday, no children are allowed to attend home tours, it's only for those who have already signed these contracts. You also must wear a mask and gloves at all times during the tour.
