While shopping for plain ol’ bran flakes the other day at King Soopers, I came across this box in the cereal aisle. Kellogg’s Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Chocolatey Almond cereal! ‘What?’ I exclaimed to no one in particular.  When did this all start?   Whose brainchild was this-- to put breakfast and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory together like this?  Brilliant!  The selling power of the RMCF is pretty fierce, I don’t blame anybody for putting this on the shelf to see how it does!

Is it too much? Price-wise, it ranks with the rest of the Kellogg’s crew—about $4 a box. But is it too much, as in, ‘Do we really need a Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory cereal?’

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, based out of Durango, doesn’t list this as a product on their own website-- maybe they're seeing how well it does in test markets before doing so.  Maybe you’ll be able to pick it up at their Outlets of Loveland location while getting some of those chocolate dipped strawberries. Wait…… what if you put those strawberries ON TOP OF YOUR CEREAL?!  O-M-G!  THAT would definitely be too much!  I gotta see somebody try, though!

Also – question: should you have a glass of orange juice or chocolate milk when you enjoy this particular cereal?

There's no telling if this cereal will make you feel as GREAT as these folks from an old Kellogg's Nutri-Grain commercial-- this thing is just whack!
