Greeley PD Arrests Man for Internet Exploitation of Children
A 52-year-old man has been arrested for exploiting children over the internet, following a four-month long investigation by the Greeley Police Department.
Greeley Police Investigations were first made aware of Rural (Dune) Dalphin Hartsell through a NCMEC/ICAC (Internet Crimes Against Children) referral in June 2020.
An extensive investigation then took place, which included executing search warrants and exhaustive lab analysis. The results led to applying for an arrest warrant for Hartsell.
Hartsell was taken into custody on October 21 and booked into the Weld County Jail on charges of Sexual Exploitation of a Child (distribution) 3F (10 counts), Sexual Exploitation of a Child, 4F (46 counts) and Sexual Exploitation of a Child, 5F (10 counts). He remains in jail with no bond.
