Colorado Rocks the Healthiest Communities Rankings
Another list regarding high quality of life is out and Colorado shows up several times inside the top 25.
US News & World Report has released its annual "Healthiest Communities Rankings" and six Colorado counties show up in the top 25, with two counties in the top three! US News & World Report measured health and wellness using "80 metrics" with "population health and equity" being the most emphasized categories. Some of the criteria making up the top 25: Population Health, equity, education, economy, housing, food & nutrition, environment, public safety, community vitality, and infrastructure.
Here are the Colorado counties (with some of the cities that are within) that made the list:
