While the glow of their second consecutive Kelly Cup Championship has yet to fade, The Colorado Eagles are flipping the page to a new chapter as they have announced their new schedule for the upcoming season in a new league and now, a new head coach. The new league is the AHL and with that the Eagles have a new affiliate....The Colorado Avalanche. This is a huge opportunity for the Eagles and their fans, but with that comes change.

From the Colorado Eagles website, The Colorado Avalanche are bringing in a new head coach for the upcoming 2018-2019 season. Greg Cronin, who has been coaching for 30 years, including time in the NHL and AHL, was most recently with the New York Islanders as an Associate Coach.

Cronin is not without some time spent in Colorado as he coached at Colorado College from 1990-1993.

Aaron Schneekloth and Ryan Tobler, who won two consecutive ECHL Championships as head coach and assistant coach respectively, will remain on staff as assistant coaches.

The Colorado Eagles said that a formal introduction of their new coach will happen at a later time.
