Colorado Congressional Democrats are supporting to Speaker Nanci Pelosi's call for an inquiry into the impeachment of President Donald Trump.

Democrats are calling for an inquiry into the impeachment of President Donald Trump after a whistleblower brought to light a phone call between Trump and the Ukrainian President. In the phone call, President Donald Trump asks the President of Ukraine to find information about business dealings involving Joe Biden's son, Hunter.

In a tweet yesterday Senator Michael Bennet from Colorado's 5th Congressional District said, "I support the decision to open an impeachment inquiry. As a member of the Senate Intel Committee, I will continue to exercise my role in conducting oversight and uncovering the facts."

On the other side of the isle, Colorado Republican Doug Lamborn said, "Since day one, Democrats have been trying to wrongly impeach the duly elected president."

Trump released the phone call transcripts on Wednesday and tweeted this "Will the Democrats apologize after seeing what was said on the call with the Ukrainian President? They should, a perfect call - got them by surprise!"

CNN is reporting that a small group of House and Senate Republicans reviewed the transcript before it was released. They said everything was fine about the call and they have no problem with it.
