The City of Fort Collins is seeking volunteer Master Naturalists who care about natural areas to share their enthusiasm with others. Volunteers learn about ecology, public speaking skills, and how to lead a variety of programs (including school field trips) on the natural areas. Often, Master Naturalists form lasting friendships with others who share their interests.Volunteer opportunities are many and varied, and designed to fit all schedules. All the training is free. Class size is limited for this highly popular program.

Application deadline is March 15, 2016. Master Naturalist training is FREE and all materials are supplied.Topics include:  basic ecology about local natural areas;  teaching techniques, public speaking and interpretation tips;  values and benefits that natural areas add to our lives;  locations and secrets of little-known natural areas.Training dates and times in 2016 are:
