CDC Suggestions For Halloween 2020 in Northern Colorado
2020, the year of ________ fill in your own personal and creative blank. For ME, it's been the year of adjusting. In so many ways, we've had to adjust the way we work, the way we play, the way our kids get their education and about 4,327 other things that I don't have time to list right now.
Let's add one more thing to the list, the way we do Halloween. Many have argued that Halloween, in particular trick or treating is probably one of the safer things you can do because kids are already in masks.
According to the Coloradoan, the CDC has advised against indoor activities such as haunted houses and house parties along with potluck inspired parties and non socially distant activities. Instead they suggest things like socially distant outdoor parties and pumpkin patches and outdoor parades.
Halloween certainly shouldn't be and isn't cancelled, but we do need to be aware about everything going on and be as responsible as we possibly can while still having fun. :)
