Keeping kids active in Colorado when school's on summer break can be frustrating. Why not pad a little of the summer with some fun learning, "college style?"

Aims Community College's 'College for Kids' Program Every Summer

Don't think of it as "going to school in summer," it's more of taking a few days to experience classes/experiences that they may not have the opportunity to at their regular school.

Think of it as a little "part" of their summer break; the classes sound interesting and fun.

Producing a short film, in-field interviewing, and live radio will be a part of of one of the classes with the 'College for Kids' program at Aims.

During summer break from school, your family may have a vacation planned, you may have "pool days" on the calendar, and then there's the week that Grandma and Grandpa are coming to town, but you still have a lot of "summer" to fill.

Having grown up in Loveland, I'm bummed that I never took advantage or heard of this program. But, things were different back then; Mom probably didn't know about it. Back in 1981, Aims probably didn't have as many options as they do, today.

Kids Can Attend Over 20 Different Classes with Aims' College for Kids

Programmed for kids aged 9-12, each year there are many fun learning and fun activity classes that they can be a part of during the summer. It must be a traveling program, because the dates are spread out across the campuses.
