We hope you didn't put away your snow shovels just yet. Be prepared for another round of spring snow in Northern Colorado.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the region starting on 3 p.m. Monday afternoon through 3 a.m. Tuesday morning. Heavier amounts of snow could be expected in the foothills areas.

Snow should begin to fall in Northern Colorado starting after 2 p.m. Monday afternoon. Total daytime accumulation is expected to be approximately one to two inches. These hazardous conditions could impact road conditions for commuters on Monday evening. Night time and over night snow fall totals are expected to be approximately two to four inches total.

Tuesday's commute could be a slippery one. Please be sure you take extra time in the morning to arrive to your destination on time.

Snow will return again on Wednesday in the afternoon hours. However, it does not appear that there will be any accumulation with the arrival of snow on Wednesday. Spring like temperatures will return on Thursday with a high of 54 degrees and partly sunny skies.
