WeldWerks Welcomes the Return of Their Huge Invitational Beerfest

After having to take two years of because of the pandemic, Greeley's popular WeldWerks Brewing is ready to let the beers flow once again, June 25, 2022.

WeldWerks officially launched in in 2014, after the two co-founders agreed on a bet: If brewer Neil won a medal at the competition they were at in Vail, Colin would 'consider' opening a brewery with Neil. Neil won two medals that day; here were are in 2022, and WeldWerks Brewing is one of the most popular and successful breweries in Colorado.

A Saturday in summer, enjoying a wide variety of delicious beers while helping out the community. It sounds like a great day, to me, and there's no way I'd be able to sample the 120 beers from the anticipated 47 breweries.

2022 WeldWerks Brewing Invitational Festival

Date: Saturday, June 25, 2022
Where: The Doubletree by Hilton in Downtown Greeley.
Time: Two sessions-- 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Tickets: $110 through Eventbrite.
On Sale: March 19, 2022.

Having two sessions just gives more people the opportunity to get in an taste the beers; there'll be no difference in what's available between the two.

In 2019, the festival brought in over $50,000 that went to local charities and non-profits through the breweries' WeldWerks Community Foundation. It's great to know that this isn't just some 'money-grab,' it's an event that actually helps people. In addition, after two years of the pandemic, you'd have to expect a LOT of people will be wanting to attend this year's event, which will mean even more money helping people.

Several food trucks will be on hand (food is not included with your ticket,) be sure to get some food in you to carry you through your session. I see purchasing a ticket early, then bringing about half that amount for food, and tips.
