Cats stuck in trees... bears stuck in trees... baby ducklings in storm drains — Colorado firefighters see it all. WTKR reported that a crew of firefighters is getting attention after using advanced technology for a rescue: duck call audio from a YouTube video.

The baby ducks were too frightened to approach the firefighters, so they used an unusual technique.

South Metro Fire Rescue shared on Twitter, 'Since fire engines aren’t equipped with duck calls, firefighters used the audio from a YouTube video to talk four frightened ducklings out of a storm drain pipe in Littleton this afternoon.'

YouTube: saving baby ducklings one duck call video at a time. And, yes, they were reunited with mama duck. Happy ending.
