Get Married At A Colorado Eagles Game
Some people have more traditional weddings, with family and close friends around to watch them tie the knot. Others, like it even more low-key and just hit the courthouse and spend the money on the party or the honeymoon. And then there's that group that goes all out and throws massive weddings that people talk about for years afterward. My wife and I got married at the now-defunct Thunder Mountain Amphitheatre in Loveland, Colorado. It was the night after a Thompson Square concert, which ironically, was the band on stage at Cheyenne Frontier Days when I proposed in the pouring rain. Our special day was perfect. What Loveland wedding could be even more epic than ours though? How about getting married on the ice at a Colorado Eagles game?
How can I Get Married On The Ice At A Colorado Eagles Game?
Over the last six years, more than 300 people have gotten married in the city of Love at their "Loveland Valentine's Day Wedding and Vow Renewal Ceremony." This year, in conjunction with the Colorado Eagle's historic 20th season, they're taking this Valentine's Day tradition to the ice!
Say those two magical words "I do" for the first time, or renew your vows on the ice on Valentine's Day prior to the Eagles game that evening. You'll get "music you vote on, a customized ceremony, keepsake photos, a lock couples can use to 'lock their love' on the famous LOVE sculpture or heart sculpture in Loveland, gift bags, signature wedding cupcakes," and more.
The cost is $140 a couple and tickets are limited so if getting hitched before the Eagles game is something that sounds amazing to you, get your spot reserved before it's too late. This event is powered by My Big Day Events, the Loveland chamber, the city of Loveland, and the Colorado Eagles. After your wedding, you're gonna need a place to live... How about this amazing Loveland home??
