Wakeboarding Horsetooth Reservoir in Fort Collins [PICTURES]

If there's one thing I don't want to do, it's miss out on any fun opportunities that are staring me right in the face. It's like when I meet people who are from Colorado that have never taken a trip to any of our world class mountain resorts. They are the best in the world and just a few hours away...Don't you want to just try them?

Well, I was guilty as charged in this regard when it comes to power boat sports on Horsetooth Reservoir. I had never been on a jetski, ski boat or any kind of engine powered craft since I moved to Fort Collins in 2002.

Finally, the invite came. My friend and co-worker Shelley asked us to take a Sunday morning and afternoon to do some wakeboarding. It was completely amazing. A really fun activity that is part hanging out with friends, part sunbathing, part exhilaration!

I must note that the person who is ripping and getting big air in the pictures above are my friend, Greg, not me.
