Due to construction on the 53-year-old Vine Drive bridge, Vine will be closed at I-25 in Fort Collins for several months.

According to the Colorado Department of Transportation, the entire bridge, built in 1966, will be demolished and rebuilt. The new bridge will be more pedestrian-friendly and will have a higher clearance for vehicles passing underneath on I-25.

'Starting on May 28, motorists will need to detour safely around the work zone on Vine Drive over I-25 for approximately seven months while the bridge is replaced. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained.' -CDOT

The project is scheduled to finish in early 2020. Until then, detours will need to be used via N.Timberline, Mountain Vista and the frontage roads. You can learn more about the project and see a detour map here.
