Vern's Place will be back open for dine-in customers at 8 a.m. on Tuesday (Nov. 17).

On November 9, 2020, Vern's Place announced that they'd be shutting down dine-in service due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Monday, November 16, the famed restaurant announced via Facebook that they'd stopped dine-in service due to someone in their close circle having tested positive for COVID-19 (no guests were exposed), so they had taken the proactive step of closing for dine-in service once more in order protect their staff and customers.

But now, according to their statement, they've tested all of their employees, and all of those tests have come back negative. In addition, they have deep-cleaned the entire building and operation on top of their daily sanitation procedures, which have been put in place since the pandemic began.

But even with dine-in services returning, Vern's curbside pickup is still an option, especially if a customer is not feeling well.

It's great that a beloved 'comfort-food' establishment can sit customers when we could all definitely use comfort.

We are back to in-house Dining. Open Tuesday, 11/17 at 8 am.
