What if Stevie Nicks had joined Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers? That's the premise behind The Petty Nicks Experience, and it is quite a show.

They sounded so good together, Stevie Nicks and the late Tom Petty. Why not put a band together that is a tribute to that sound, as well as each artist's solo work, and Nicks' Fleetwood Mac work?

The Petty Nicks Experience will play on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at the historic Fox Theater in Boulder. Fox Theater was just inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame; I have yet to see one show there. This is your opportunity to do so.

The Fox Theater was built by the Shriners as an auditorium in 1928; but, because they put so much into the detail of the 'palace,' they ended up having to lease the building to William Fox, who made his fortune by opening movie 'palaces' across the country.

In 1929, Fox Theater showed its first movie: 'Steamboat Willie' with Mickey Mouse.

They still have the 3,622-pipe Möller organ inside the venue. It must be something to see. I need to go there for a show. Maybe you'll see me at The Petty Nicks Experience, on January 15, 2022.

From their video, the woman who tributes Stevie Nicks sounds a lot like her and dressed the part as well. The Tom Petty person, definitely has the look of the late rocker, and the music is spot on.

You can listen to my interview with the band here:

Tickets for the show are $20-25, which is a great price to see such a show at a phenomenal venue. You can get tickets from AXS HERE.
